The front desk leads with what brought you here — your chief complaint, your concerns, your fears — before they ask about your insurance card. Health concerns and anxieties are noted at the scheduling call so the team is prepared before you walk in.
New patient paperwork is sent digitally in advance, so the waiting room is for arriving, not for filling forms.
