Dr. Bailey insists that patient care trumps anything else going on in our office and he strives to provide our patients with the latest technology in dentistry. He has been providing same day crowns and performing laser surgery on his patients for many many years. He is very proud of his team, who is now completing training on the most advanced CEREC CAD/CAM technology in dentistry, that not only produce same day crowns, but now allows us to provide same day posterior bridges. He and Beth maintain a farm complete with cows, chickens, pigs, a dog and a vegetable garden. He is a true conservationist. In fact, after the devastation of hurricanes Katrina and Rita he used the trees that had been leveled—and might have gone to waste—to build his current office. Not only did he use it to frame the office, but when you walk in you can see the natural wood in the desks and cabinets throughout our office. In his spare time Dr. Bailey enjoys fishing, hunting, and cooking with family.
Dr. Bailey is a Christian and he thanks Jesus for his dental practice and dental team and his many wonderful patients. He loves to share the love of Christ with others. He participates in Healing Place Church Dental Ministry, which offers free dental services to people in need. He has also started an organization called “Love Thy Neighbor” which follows the scriptures, Matthew 25: 35-46,
35For I was hungry, and you fed me. I was thirsty, and you gave me a drink. I was a stranger, and you invited me into your home. 36I was naked, and you gave me clothing. I was sick, and you cared for me……The Love Thy Neighbor ministry provides Bibles, food, and clothing for people in need.
Jessica, our hygienist has been with us since August of 2013; she has been in dentistry since June of 2010. Jessica graduated from the University of Mississippi medical center with a Bachelor’s in Advanced Standing Dental Hygiene. She has been married since May 2013 and welcomed a beautiful baby girl, Hadleigh, in June 2015. When you come in for your hygiene check up or new patient exam, you will soon find out how passionate Jessica is about what she does. It is evident that Jessica loves helping people.
Jessica says the greatest thing about working in Dr. Bailey’s office is that he values the same things that she does: Getting patients healthy, keeping them healthy, and reminding people that oral health is a part of overall general health. In her spare time she enjoys hunting, fishing, and sports as well as spending time with family and friends.
Kelsie has been a dental assistant for 6 years; she started working with Dr. Bailey in the beginning of 2014. She is now working at the front desk as our scheduling coordinator. Kelsie feels that being able to see a difference from where a patient starts to where they end is very rewarding. She enjoys ensuring that her patients are comfortable and well informed about their dental health.
Kelsie was married in November of 2013 and welcomed a beautiful girl, Breelynn, in July 2015. She enjoys spending spare time in the great outdoors, with family and friends, and LSU tailgating.
Megan has been a dental assistant for 8 years; she has been with Dr. Bailey since February of 2013. Megan dedicated herself to dental assisting to educate people on how to maintain dental health, but one of her favorite things about being a dental assistant is when she sees transformations in people once we finish treatment.
Megan loves working as a part of something that makes people feel good about themselves. She is originally from Chalmette, but has been in Prairieville since 2011. All of her spare time goes to her handsome son, Tyler and beautiful daughter, Brienne. They enjoy playing sports, swimming and more recently learning to play the drums together.
